Fenerbahce – Istanbulspor betting tip, prediction & odds 26.05.2024

Süper Lig, Sunday, 26.05.2024

The chance of the championship? It’s very, very small. But it does exist! Fenerbahce and Galatasaray will battle it out in a long-distance duel on Sunday to crown their respective magnificent seasons with the title.

Both opponents deserve it, but the Canaries will only be in with a chance if they win and their rivals lose.

A home game against the bottom team? Sounds like the perfect opponent and yet I’ll now reveal in my Fenerbahce Istanbulspor betting tip why I’m drawing the line at 4.5 goals and why I’m also securing the betting bonus for this bet at Betano!

The seemingly hopeless championship brought back in the derby of all places? What a story that would be! In the Süper Lig, we are witnessing something memorable this season, as both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are playing an absolutely fabulous round.

Gala are on 99 points, Fener on 96, while third-placed Trabzon are on 64. It’s a shame that one of these two teams is guaranteed to come away empty-handed

Last weekend, they faced each other head-to-head at RAMS Park. The Canaries don’t like playing there at all, and yet they somehow managed to win in ten and thus also book the direct comparison.

Not unimportant, because: If both teams end up with the same number of points, the goal difference will have to wait a little longer. And so it’s clear: To become champions, Fener not only have to win on Sunday, but also hope that Galatasaray lose

No one doubts that the challengers will win because they are playing at home against Istanbulspor, who are bottom of the table. The last time they won three in a row was in October.

I can’t really find anything to criticize about this team. They’ve lost just once and shared the points six times. The offensive yield stands at 93 goals, could it perhaps even reach three figures?

That may sound a little presumptuous at first, but: Fenerbahce have scored a whopping 16 times in the last four head-to-head meetings, including five times in the 5-1 win in the first half of the season alone

Since 2007 (there was a twelve-year break before that), the two teams have met eight times, with seven of the Canaries’ eight victories coming with a handicap of at least -1.

5:1, 3:3, 5:2 – the three Süper Lig encounters in the current period have been anything but boring. Will Fener concede a goal this time? Difficult to predict, because there’s always the rival

If word gets around that Galatasaray are leading against Konyaspor, perhaps even by a wide margin, it would be the end of their championship dreams and it would be understandable if their own motivation were to wane.

However, all the stars will not be able to take to the pitch on Sunday. Alexander Djuku is suspended, as is Michy Batsuhayi, meaning that important players will have to be replaced both up front and at the back.

With Cengiz Ünder and Rade Krunic, two other stars are in danger of missing out. For our best sports betting apps, however, there is no doubt that we will see a clear-cut affair against Istanbulspor

The odds average 1.06 to 37.0 – you can’t put a guest in the role of outsider more clearly than that. Istanbulspor have long since been relegated and have only picked up 16 points (actually 19, three were deducted).

Four wins, 26 defeats, 27 goals scored and 74 goals conceded? All of these statistics are the weakest in the respective category. So there’s really no need for any extra analysis here, this is simply a relegated team that is too weak for this league in all respects

The team has lost eight of its last nine games, and when it comes to stronger opponents, it’s usually clear what to expect before kick-off. Eleven times they haven’t lost, who was on the other side here?

None of the clubs we’ve managed to score against have finished in single figures, which is more than clear. Twice 0:3 against Trabzonspor, 1:5 against Fener in the first half of the season, 1:3 and 0:1 against Galatasaray?

You almost have to praise the fact that four of the five defeats against the top three were “only” by up to three goals. So would a 4-0 HC be appropriate? It would certainly be a little risky, but would result in average odds of 1.70 with our tax-free betting providers.

Fenerbahce or Galatasaray – there can only be one Turkish champion in 2024! The two top teams are aware of their starting positions, Fener must do their homework and win first.

Nobody doubts that they can do that against Istanbulspor. The only question is how big the win will be and how many goals the Canaries, who currently stand at 93, will manage to score.

I’m actually drawing a line here, because I also have the Galatasaray game in the back of my mind. If they were to take a (clear) lead here, Fener’s title ambitions would be gone. Therefore, I’ll take it easy and say:

At 4.5 goals it’s over!
