Standing in the secure midfield of the 3rd division, Fortuna Cologne is pushing ahead with plans for the new season. On Thursday, the club from the “Schäl Sick” presented its first new signing for the summer in Eric Gueye. The 26-year-old attacker comes from Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the Regionalliga West, where RWO is currently in 2nd place. Gueye has scored seven goals in 27 games for the club so far.
