The favorites for the Barcelona GP 2024
Who will win the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix? Despite much more exciting races recently, the clear top favorite to win in Spain is once again Max Verstappen.
The Red Bull driver struck back triumphantly at the last race in Montreal and narrowly won the race. The Dutchman has now won six of the nine Grand Prix races so far.
Thanks to this latest success, he now has a comfortable 56-point lead in the championship standings. The Barcelona GP betting odds from betting provider Bwin are therefore clearly in favor of “Mad Max”.
Verstappen topped the podium in each of the last two years. Will he complete the hat-trick this year?
In Montreal, Lando Norris (131, 3rd) was once again the fiercest competitor in second place. The bookies once again see the Briton as the closest rival for the Spanish GP. In Norris’ favor: he has finished on the podium in four of the last five races.
Ferrari star Charles Leclerc is also a force to be reckoned with at the upcoming race in Barcelona. The Monegasque recently won his home race and is in second place in the drivers’ standings with 138 points.
After finishing third and fourth respectively, the recently resurgent Mercedes drivers George Russel and Lewis Hamilton can also be expected to finish in the top positions.
Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz are also in with a chance after their recent strong performances
