The ESC winner odds for 2025 are just as much in the spotlight as the question of whether various Bundesliga teams can still jump on the bandwagon heading for Europe.
However, my Gladbach Wolfsburg prediction concerns two teams that have already ruined their chances of international competition.
Nevertheless, the match could still produce a surprisingly high number of goals. After all, that’s just part of the game with this particular pairing!
Wolfsburg goes into the last matchday against Gladbach with mixed feelings – and rightly so. A look at the recent past shows that VfL traditionally struggles on the last matchday.
Take note: since their furious 8-1 win against Augsburg at the end of the 2018/19 season, Wolfsburg have not won on matchday 34 (1 draw, 4 defeats).
It would therefore be something of a first if the “Wolves” were to finally pick up three points again this time around.
The betting companies’ predictions?
The Gladbach Wolfsburg odds point to a balanced duel with a slight home advantage for the hosts.
A win for the “Foals” will earn you around 2.15 with most betting companies using Apple Pay – not outstandingly high, but solid.
A draw, on the other hand, pays 4.20, which shows that a draw is possible but not the most likely outcome. An away win for the Wolves is around 2.75.

And now comes the kicker: Gladbach is anything but solid when it comes to set pieces. 20 goals conceded from set pieces speak for themselves. Only Bochum (23) and newly promoted Holstein Kiel (22) are more vulnerable in this regard.
So this is the ideal scenario for VfL to end the season with a corner kick goal – and a perfect opportunity for you to bet on potential scorers from set pieces.
Gladbach – Wolfsburg: There could be a lot of goals!
But it’s not just set pieces that regularly cause problems for Gladbach – the Foals are also extremely vulnerable from open play.
