Tjark Ernst (21) has extended his contract with Hertha BSC until 2027. The goalkeeper moved to the capital from VfL Bochum in the summer of 2022 and rose to number one in goal for Berlin last season, appearing in 27 league matches and three games in the DFB Cup. In the current season, he has been in goal for all six league matches. Most recently, he was nominated for the German U21 squad but did not make an appearance
