After seven years at FC Ingolstadt, Tobias Schröck will have to look for a new challenge in the summer. The 31-year-old’s contract, which expires at the end of the season, will not be extended. Schröck joined the Schanzers from Würzburg in 2017 and played 127 games in the 2nd and 3rd divisions as well as six relegation matches (six goals, four assists) – repeatedly set back by lengthy injuries. The central defender also captained Ingolstadt on the pitch for one season. It is not yet clear where Schröck will continue his career in the summer
