On Matchday 3 of the Nations League, Austria will have the chance to cement the lead in Group B3. If the ÖFB team also wins against Ireland, the group victory is already within reach.
In fact, there is currently nothing to complain about for Ralf Rangnick’s team. Israel and Kosovo were beaten confidently (3-1 each) and a dominant performance against Ireland is also likely.
Accordingly, in my Ireland Austria tip, I take aim at the bet “Austria over 1.5 goals” at odds around 2.35, especially since the tip would have already worked out in six of the last seven Austrian away games in Ireland.
