Leonardo Bittencourt’s contract with SV Werder Bremen expires at the end of this season, and a farewell seemed to have already been decided. Most recently, however, the 32-year-old played his way back into the starting eleven under Daniel Thioune, which gave rise to some rumours about a possible stay. Nevertheless, he could continue his journey outside Germany for the first time. As “Fussball Transfers” reports, Bittencourt is said to be in concrete talks with Saudi clubs. Born in Leipzig, he has been playing in Bremen since 2019 and has since made 187 appearances and scored 20 goals for the Green and Whites.
