On Friday, Andree Jeglertz will kick off the European Championship with Denmark’s women’s national team. The day before, the outgoing coach’s new role was announced: after the tournament, the 53-year-old Swede will take over the women’s team at Manchester City, where he has signed a four-year contract. In March, City parted ways with Gareth Taylor and appointed Nick Cushing on an interim basis.
