Spain started the group stage strongly, but then possibly put the brakes on a little in their final group game against Egypt (1:2). After all, progression from the group stage was already in the bag after just two match days.
In the quarter-finals, however, the speed was then decisively increased again, and against Japan (3:0) they also managed to play to nil for the first time at this tournament.

Spain are probably the favorites in this semi-final, but I don’t really trust them to win
Morocco’s offense should not be underestimated. With Soufiane Rahimi, they have a one-man attack that has never played outside of Africa, but has already scored five goals at this tournament. But that is only part of the truth.
As already shown, the Atlas Lions generate offensive pressure through their outnumbered play on the wings. In addition, the processes and passing sequences required to create big chances are working better and better.
Watch out: The Moroccans have improved offensively from game to game! More and more goals were scored against Ukraine 1 and then against Iraq (3) and the USA (4). And the 2:1 opening victory over Argentina also made an impression
