Rasmus Höjlund will join Napoli from Manchester United on a permanent basis this summer for a transfer fee of €44m, after the Serie A club secured qualification for next season’s Champions League. The loan contract of the Danish international contained a corresponding obligation to buy. “It’s a strange feeling, because I’ve been feeling like a Napoli player for a year now,” Höjlund himself confirmed the permanent move. The farewell to Manchester United is also “a very emotional moment” for him. My childhood dream came true when I was allowed to play in the red jersey at Old Trafford.”
