Atalanta Bergamo announced the transfer of Gianluca Gaetano on Thursday evening. The 26-year-old midfielder comes from Serie A rivals Cagliari. According to media reports, the club from northern Italy is said to have transferred twelve million euros to the Sardinians. In the summer of 2025, the club had only released Gaetano from SSC Napoli for around six million euros, after a previous loan a year and a half earlier.
