Romania – Austria Tip, AI Prediction & Odds 10/12/2025

Romania – Austria Tip World Cup Qualifier, Group H, Matchday 6, 10/12/2025 at 8:45 p.m.

Well, the Austrian national team really let loose against the soccer minnows this week. Personally, I’ve only experienced similar joy with the Bwin new customer bonus.

However, national coach Ralf Rangnick would probably still be dissatisfied if his team were to suddenly lose on Sunday after their 10-0 victory. After all, the ticket to the 2026 World Cup is already within reach!

According to my Romania Austria prediction, we can expect an entertaining duel with goals on both sides.

Not only because the ÖFB has already warmed up wonderfully with its double-digit goal victory, but also because the Eastern Europeans need a win at all costs and will therefore play offensively from the start!

Romania vs. Austria AI predictions:

Our Romania Austria AI prediction is also less concerned with a possible winner and more with the possible number of total goals.

The suggestion here is over 3.5 goals. Especially since the 3.10 odds offered by the same bookmaker after registering with Bet365 show a positive risk-reward ratio.

Although I personally feel a little more comfortable with the over 2.5 goals selection, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if that’s how it turns out in the end.

Predicted chance of winning:

Marko Arnautovic has a good chance of scoring. At 36, the Red Star Belgrade player is no longer the youngest, but no Austrian has scored as often as he has this week.

Arnautovic scored once in the first half and three more times in the second half against San Marino. If Rangnick leaves him on the pitch for 90 minutes again, his average goal rate of 2.42 in the game against Romania is absolutely justified.

Double chance X2 & both teams to score is ultimately the combination bet that appeals to me the most. The Romania Austria odds of 2.15 on average are attractive, and a 1-1 draw is my favorite final result anyway.

What you need to consider when betting on Romania vs. Austria

  • Marko Arnautovic scored 4 goals against San Marino during the week
  • Austria has lost only 1 of its last 7 international matches against Romania
  • There have been over 2.5 goals in 4 of the ÖFB team’s last 5 international matches
  • In their 2-1 first-leg victory over Romania, the ÖFB team made efficient use of their chances (1.15 xG value)
