Two wins and two draws as well as one defeat – that’s Rostock’s record from the first five games. From the point of view of those responsible for the cog, too little. Four days after the 4-0 defeat at Viktoria Köln, Hansa parted ways with coach Daniel Brinkmann and his assistant Dirk Flock. The duo took over the team on 2 November 2024 and coached them in a total of 80 competitive games. The previous assistant coaching team around Yannic Thiel and Adam Susac now bears responsibility on an interim basis.
