As already mentioned, the game will be played in Gelsenkirchen. The Eagles could be outnumbered in the legendary arena with a lockable roof.
After all, almost 60,000 people with Serbian roots live in North Rhine-Westphalia alone. But not all of them would fit into the Veltins Arena.

Serbia taking part for the first time
Although the Serbian national team has already taken part in the 2010, 2018 and 2022 World Cups, this is their first appearance at a European Championship.
At least if you look at Serbia in isolation. As the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, they reached the quarter-finals at Euro 2000.
However, since Montenegro declared its independence from Serbia in June 2006, the Orlovi have been playing as a single nation.
England: It’s (finally) coming home?
