Stroppa, Giovanni
– FC Venezia
+ without a club
The Italian first division club FC Venezia has drawn consequences after its disastrous start to the new season and parted ways with coach Giovanni Stroppa (58). This was announced by the promoted team on Tuesday. Venice is in last place in Serie A after six defeats from the first six games. Stroppa took over the team after relegation in the summer of 2025 and immediately led it back into the first division as second division champions. Venice is already the fourth Italian first division club to change coaches in the still young season after AC Fiorentina, FC Bologna and Parma Calcio. It has not yet been decided who will lead the team of former national player Armel Bella-Kotchap in the future.
