Strakosha, Thomas

 – FC Brentford
+ AEK Athens

After narrowly missing out on the title in the previous season, Greece’s runners-up AEK are gearing up for the coming season. Two new arrivals are on their way to the Greek capital. Thomas Strakosha, who stood between the posts for Albania in all three European Championship group games, is set to move to Athens from English first division club FC Brentford. AEK are also on the verge of signing Argentine Roberto Pereyra, who has played for Udinese Calcio in Italy’s Serie A since 2020. Both are expected to attend a medical check in Athens at the start of the week
