SV Wehen Wiesbaden have extended Florian Hübner’s contract, which expires at the end of the season, for another year. The 35-year-old central defender will thus remain with the Hessian third division club. “Florian is an important factor for our team with his experience on and off the pitch. He leads the way, takes responsibility and is of great importance as a leader,” said sporting director Uwe Stöver. Hübner returned to his training club in the summer of 2024 after 13 years and played 20 games in the 3rd division last season.
