As part of a quintet, Herbert Bockhorn was dismissed from 1. FC Magdeburg in mid-May; after two years in the FCM kit, the 29-year-old’s contract ends in the summer. However, a turnaround now seems possible and the right-back, who has played 56 competitive matches so far, could stay after all. “In one case, the talks have not been concluded,” indicated sporting director Otmar Schork, clearly targeting Bockhorn.
