On the other side, Spain beat Georgia 4-1, having not lost a point or conceded a goal in their group with Albania, Croatia and Italy. For Germany, the memory of 2008 and 2010, when the Spaniards beat them in the European Championship final and World Cup semi-final, is a bitter one.
