NFL 2024/25: Chargers – Broncos
More and more doors are opening on our sports betting advent calendar and the tournament tree for the 2024 NFL playoffs is taking shape with each passing weekend in December.

The Broncos, who are turning into the real surprise of the season, are in a completely different situation. After a weak start, characterized by mistakes from their rookie quarterback Bo Nix, the team from Denver has now reeled off four wins in a row.
The last game against the Colts underlined why they are currently one of the hottest teams in the league. Although Nix threw three interceptions, the Broncos’ “Cinderella story” is based on a defense that is incredibly dominant.
Five forced turnovers, including a spectacular touchdown by Nik Bonitto after the Colts broke up a trick play, ultimately secured a clear victory.
The special teams also impressed: several successful punt returns by Marvin Mims Jr. provided excellent field position that tipped the game.
With a 91% chance of making the playoffs and a lead over the direct pursuers, the Broncos are currently on course to advance beyond the regular season for the first time since 2015.
The upcoming duel between these two division rivals could hardly be more explosive. While the Chargers desperately need a win to keep their hopes alive, the Broncos could all but seal their participation with another win.
It will be particularly exciting to see how Bo Nix fares against the Chargers’ shaky defense. However, I also think that his counterpart on the other side, Justin Herbert, will have a much tougher time against the Broncos defense.
