Young player Jeremiah Mensah has signed a professional contract with Bayer 04 Leverkusen until 2031. The 18-year-old feels at home in attacking midfield and has already made a short appearance in the Champions League and the DFB Cup. He is still waiting for his Bundesliga debut. “Jeremiah Mensah has proven his footballing qualities many times over in our youth teams and has developed excellently over the years,” said sporting managing director Simon Rolfes: “We trust Jeremiah to assert himself in the first team in the long term and make his mark there.”
