Claudio Ranieri’s return to the AS Roma coaching bench is imminent, according to Italian media reports. As the “Gazetta dello Sport” writes, the 73-year-old landed in the Italian capital on Wednesday evening and is to be presented on Thursday morning. It would be Ranieri’s third spell in charge of the Giallorossi, having already been on the sidelines from 2009 to 2011 and again in 2019. Ranieri led Cagliari Calcio to relegation from Serie A in the summer and then hinted at the end of his career. Now he is set to lead Roma, which has slipped into the gray midfield, back on track
